EXPERIENCES OF QUEER BIPOC GENDER EXPANSIVE EMERGING ADULTS
This 30-minute online study explored the relationship between multiple identities, mental health, and parental support for emerging adult (18-29 years old) gender expansive (for example: nonbinary, genderqueer, stud, butch) people of color assigned female at birth.
SEXUAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF BLACK QUEER COMMUNITIES DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
This community-based research study examined the role of COVID in the lives of Black queer people in Ontario. Black queer people, and service providers, were invited to participate in focus groups about how COVID impacted their lives.
EXPLORATORY RESEARCH ON THE LIVES OF BLACK GENDER EXPANSIVE YOUTH IN SCHOOL, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY
Black 12-18 year olds who identified as gender expansive (for example, nonbinary, transgender, genderfluid, genderqueer, agender, gender-nonconfomring, stud, butch) and were in secondary school participated in interviews and focus groups about their lived experiences at the intersection of race and gender.
