CURRENT RESEARCH STUDIES
We are currently looking for Black 2SLGBTQ+ people in Ontario for two different studies. The first study is only for Black queer youth (12-18 years old) and the second study is for anyone in Ontario who is Black & 2SLGBTQ+! Please make sure you click the right link for the right study below to sign up.

EXPLORATORY RESEARCH ON THE LIVES OF BLACK GENDER EXPANSIVE YOUTH IN SCHOOL, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY
We are looking for Black 12-18 year olds who identify as gender expansive (for example, nonbinary, transgender, genderfluid, genderqueer, agender, gender-nonconfomring, stud, butch), who attend a TDSB or TDCSB school. Participants will be asked to complete a quick 5 minute pre-interview with our team followed by a 1-1.5 hour focus group with 5-6 other Black 2SLGBTQ+ youth. We will ask participants to come up with a pseudonym (a made up name) to protect their identities. After completion, participants will get either a $25 e-transfer or e-giftcard. If you are interested, click below to enter your email so that we can reach out to you.

SEXUAL AND MENTAL HEALTH OF BLACK QUEER COMMUNITIES DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
We are hoping to chat with Black 2SLGBTQIA+ people living in Ontario about their experiences with COVID. We are really wanting to know more about how access to physical, mental, and community resources were impacted by COVID.
We also want to chat with service providers about how COVID-19 impacted their ability to provide services to Black 2SLGBTQIA+ populations.
